ECG

An electrocardiogram is a method of diagnosing the heart by recording and examining the electric fields that form during its operation. This is a simple and effective way to obtain information about the health of the organ, completely painless and without contraindications. The study can be conducted including in pregnant women and in newborns.

Indications for the procedure include suspicion of the presence of diseases or individual symptoms of these diseases, any worsening of the condition of patients with already diagnosed diseases of the heart, the disease of other organs that can affect the work of the heart in view of the extensive pathological process. In addition, the ECG is carried out for preventive purposes in order to timely detect early symptoms of diseases and further treatment, both during clinical examination and the high risk of such diseases due to occupational or hereditary factors.

The ECG does not require any special training, but two hours before it is not recommended to use heavy foods, caffeinated drinks or alcohol, physical and emotional stresses should be avoided for a more accurate result.

The only established shortcoming of the procedure is its short-term - it is carried out for about 10 minutes, but during this time the disease may not manifest itself in any way. For this reason, in the absence of abnormalities when decoding the ECG, but if there are complaints about the heart, the patient is assigned additional studies.

In our clinic the procedure is carried out by experienced and highly qualified specialists.
